General conditions:

       

Delivery and collection fee:

The delivery and collection fee of the vehicle varies according to the chosen location, at the Hotel Vila Valverde it is 10€ + VAT, for each delivery or collection.

       

Reservation Change:

You can change your booking free of charge as long as you notify Europcar of such changes up to 48 hours before the start of the rental. Please note that if you change your booking, new rental prices may apply and you should always use the same communication channel you used for the first booking.

       

Cancellations and no-shows:

Cancellation: You can cancel your reservation free of charge if you do so with advance notice to Europcar 48 hours before the car pick-up time.

Late Cancellation: If you cancel your reservation with less than 48 hours' notice to Europcar, you may have to pay a cost of up to €50, for “Late Cancellation”. The value of this cost will not exceed the price of your rental if it is lower.

In case of pre-paid booking, the pre-paid amount will be refunded, deducting the amount of the “Late Cancellation”.
In case of reservation not paid in advance, this amount will be deducted from the same payment method used.
In case of reservation not paid in advance and in the absence of means of payment, you will be responsible for the payment of the “Late Cancellation”.

No Show: If you didn't cancel your reservation and didn't show up at the station to pick up your car; You may have to pay “No Show” costs up to €95. In case the rental is less than this value, this cost will be equal to the price of your rental.

In case of prepaid booking, the prepaid amount will be refunded, deducting the “No Show” amount.
In case of reservation not paid in advance, this cost will be deducted from the same payment method used.
In case of reservation not paid in advance and in the absence of means of payment, you will be responsible for paying the “No Show” costs, unless you prove that it was in case of “Force Majeure”*.

       

Fuel Policies:

All vehicles are delivered with a full fuel tank.

*Cause of “Majure Force”, is deemed to exist, when an event that you not control, that you couldn’t have reasonably provided for at the time of the conclusion of the contractand whose effects could not have been avoid through the adoption of appropriate measures and that the prevent you from fulfilling the rental agreement.

Please Note that: Strikes, delays or cancellation of means of transport (train, plane, etc.) are not considered cases of “Majure Force” and don’t exemp you from the payment of additional costs for late cancellation or No Show.
